Upstairs Gallery

The upstairs gallery is the main gallery in the CoastGuard Cultural Centre. The contrast between wooden floor and walls combine with every exhibition to enunciate the colours in each exhibition. The gallery is used weekly by local art groups and also host’s various classes such as classical drawing techniques, yoga, flower arranging and life art and has also hosted musicians from far and wide.

Artist in Residence

Our artist in residence John Cullinan, whose work is displayed on the stairwell is a graduate of Limerick School of Art. John paints full time from his studio in Tramore and his work has been shown in the “James Gallery” Dublin, “Adams of Stephens Green” Dublin, “Kennys Gallery” Galway, “Blackbird” Kilkenny, “Kildare Gallery”, “Carton House”. His work has also featured in Waterford County Art Centre, The Open Window, Rathmines, Pigyard…
